Up at The O2

Experience an unforgettable 90-minute rooftop adventure with 360° views of London, ending in a thrilling descent from the world’s most popular entertainment venue.

At its steepest point the walkway has an incline of 28° on the way up and 30° on the way back down and has a slight bounce to it to replicate the surface of the tent. There's a hand rail on the walkway and a balustrade on the observation platform. Before you climb, you'll meet your Climb Guide who'll take you through everything you need to know and give you a climb suit, shoes (if necessary) and a safety harness. You'll then make your way onto the walkway, via a short set of stairs, or lift, to the base of the tent ready to start your climb. There is an observation platform at the summit where you can take in spectacular 360° views of London and its many landmarks. Once on the platform you will be able to move freely to enjoy the views before your descent. At all other times you'll be attached to the climb system on the walkway to keep you safe and your Climb Guide will be nearby to help you and answer any questions.

Summer Climb: Fridays from 25 July - 29 August 2025

This summer, Up at The O2 is launching its very own Summer Sessions, a series of exclusive Friday night climbs with a twist: refreshing cocktails and mocktails, sky-high sunsets, and a resident DJ on the roof of one of London’s iconic landmarks where climbers will get to soak up the sun and the sights for the ultimate summer evening experience.

Included in the Summer Sessions ticket, climbers will be treated to a premium cocktail, with non-alcoholic mocktails also available, served and garnished in a classic tiki glass, with a summer soundtrack provided by a live DJ.

Climbers will be able to capture picture perfect shots of them relaxing in classic striped deckchairs against the backdrop of the London skyline, during extended time of 25 minutes on the roof. The ultimate way to kick off a summer weekend – whether you’re gathering friends for a unique summer spin, planning a date night to remember, or just looking for a reason to swap ground-level drinks for sky-high sips.

Snow Globe: 21 November 2025 to 4 January 2026

From 21 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, climbers visiting Up at The O2 will enjoy a guided climb over The O2’s iconic roof, before stepping into an immersive snow globe when they reach the attractions’ 52m-high summit. Against the backdrop of the London skyline, the UK's highest snow globe will feature fairytale-like falling snow and a whimsical winter set-up, making for the ultimate festive photo moment. During an extended 20 minutes on the roof, climbers will have plenty of time to capture the ultimate snowy shots and for those looking to really get into the festive spirit, glasses of bubbly, along with soft drinks, are also available to purchase. Perfect for families, couples and friends alike, Up at The O2 is the ultimate London climbing experience to enjoy this winter and tick off your bucket list.
